About

ABOUT

As our Mission Statement says at Church Safeguarding Consultancy we are driven by a single goal - to do our part in making our Christian communities safer places for all. This can be achieved through recognising, preventing and responding to all forms of harm and abuse.

We provide consultancy, advice and support to churches, places of worship, missionary organisations and faith communities in relation to safeguarding children and adults who may be at risk of harm.

If you have a safeguarding matter that you would like assistance with then please do get in contact with us and we would be pleased to help.

We work throughout the UK and internationally.

We support victims and survivors of abuse.

Led by our Director Simon Bass, Church Safeguarding Consultancy works with churches, houses of worship, faith groups, and organisations to assist with any safeguarding need  - from child protection or adult protection training to walking with churches facing a disclosure of abuse.

VALUES

The #ChurchToo #WeToo movement articulates the harm that survivors of abuse have endured within our faith communities.

Our values recognise this harm and reflect that we serve a God of justice and mercy.

We will endeavour to ensure in all we do that:

  • We reflect Jesus who came to serve and speak up for the voiceless and the marginalised.
  • We want to support faith communities in being authentic, welcoming, safe places for all, especially those with hurts and wounds.
  • We will support all victims and survivors of abuse as practically as we are able, for as long as is necessary.
